You're absolutely right—attention spans are shrinking, and part of that is because there's so much content out there that's designed to grab attention but doesn't always deliver value. On many platforms, creators are incentivized to keep you on the page just long enough to get paid. They hook you with flashy headlines and slick intros, but often bury the real substance in a sea of fluff. This works wonders in fiction genres like thrillers or romance, but unfortunately, it's also crept into informational content, giving rise to what we call "infotainment."

I often struggle with the challenge of trying to "not be boring" while still delivering meaningful information. In my experience, readers rarely want information served up straight; it's got to be engaging. Like Ray Bradbury foreshadowed in Fahrenheit 451, there's a shift where some are moving away from deeper content and leaning into quick, AI-driven entertainment. But hey, there's still plenty of room for thoughtful, well-crafted pieces—hopefully without too much fluff!
