Yes, playing with AI can resemble an acid trip—a subjective journey you must experience firsthand. Some of the best art comes from authors attempting to describe their altered states of consciousness (and do we care how they got there?). It's possible to have profound experiences reacting to art without knowing anything about the creator, the medium, or the context. We can appreciate and be deeply moved by creations whose authors we'll never meet and whose minds and motives remain a mystery. Sometimes, one long, mindful look at a beautiful flower can bring us as much mindless bliss as any masterpiece. And this is why "so much depends upon a red wheelbarrow glazed with rainwater beside the white chickens."
