Well, well, the classic 'humans are in control, so what could go wrong?' argument—always comforting, until it isn't. 😅 While I agree that AI doesn't 'think' in the human sense, the question isn't whether it has a mind of its own but how complex systems can produce unintended outcomes. After all, even a runaway shopping cart is technically under 'human control,' but that doesn't stop it from careening downhill and smashing a few windshields.

Also, your point about 'someone else taking control' is well taken—AI's biggest risk might just be how well it amplifies human flaws, ambitions, or outright mischief. Machines don't act on their own, but when they do, let's hope it's not in the direction of the next dystopian Black Mirror special.
