Exploring the blurred lines between human and artificial intelligence in the Infinite Conversation
There is hardly anything more delightful than listening to a spontaneous exchange of ideas and observations free flowing between passionate thinkers. Especially if they are as profound, opinionated, and intriguing characters as Werner Herzog and Slavoj Žižek. For whatever reason, which I shall leave for now to deeper psychological analysis of myself, just hearing their voices triggers something in me. A fever or a memory of forgotten wings I once felt growing out of my back. I am mesmerized. Locked in a trance of the tonal variance of their vocal pitch, a cadence echoing in my mind at binaural frequency triggering deep neural fireworks display. I could be getting addicted to the Infinite Conversation.
Maybe it is because of their accents. I spent my idyllic childhood in a Slavic country, where my attraction to Žižek’s accent most likely comes from, and I suffered deep emotional trauma as a teenage political refugee in a German-speaking country, where…
