Thanks for the question Amanda. As Lannie mentioned, the idea is to know what you're dealing with even if you don't like or approve of it. I was inspired by a very good friend of mine who is a graphic designer -- he detests GenAI and all things AI but... he paid for a Midjourney license and explored it for a couple of months pushing the limits of its capabilities to understand how this tool can possibly threaten his likelihood. This hands-on experience helped him develop a more informed opinion on what GenAI like Midjourney is, how it works, and what it can or can't do. He still doesn't like it but now he knows 'his enemy.'
