Thank you, Melissa. I'm happy to hear you found this helpful. Leonard Cohen wrote about himself in a poem Going Home:
I love to speak with Leonard
He's a sportsman and a shepherd
He's a lazy bastard
Living in a suit
But he does say what I tell him
Lazy writers, lazy poets... only content creators and marketers never seem to be lazy. Of course, I would repeat whatever the muse tells me if it were half as articulate as the one that spoke with Leonard. But maybe I'm just bad at listening.
Oh, and I would give up access to all forms of AI forever for one good editor worth every drop of their red ink who would be available 24/7 and slog to polish my lazy word-turds for the price of a mediocre bottle of Merlot a month. Until then... I hope ChatGPT can help me patch my lazy writing. And I'm glad to share how it helps others, even the most ardent of scribes.
