OK OK, I get it. I was sooooo close to doing that too. But I have to maintain some professional presence somewhere and this a platform where I've been connecting with real people in my field. There are many benefits to being on LinkedIn that I don't want to give up just because someone made a bad call -- sounds like they're reverting on that decision already after the noise from the users. That's why I wrote this 'shame on you' article and tried to offer a balanced view. Hope it had some impact...

Any other reasons why LinkedIn is not a platform for you? I'm curious, I've heard this from various people. Do let me know! Cheers.
