It has never to been easy to teach (I used to do it, know people who do it now, I am preparing to do it again, oh the fools!) Now the teachers have a new headache: ChatGPT, the brainchild of Sam Altman, Reid Hoffman, Jessica Livingston, Elon Musk, Ilya Sutskever, Peter Thiel who founded OpenAI. This AI chatbot nicknamed by many teachers ‘the bullshit spewer’ appears set to impact forever how we learn, teach, and assess in almost any educational institution. Some see it as a significant trigger to reformation of our thinking about thinking, equivalent to the posting of “95 Theses” on the door of the Castle Church in Wittenberg, Germany in 1517
