Chapter 1 — Who are deep thinkers and why do we need them badly?

Deep thinkers are individuals who engage in thoughtful and reflective thinking, often considering complex and abstract ideas and concepts in great depth. They tend to be curious and open-minded, and they approach problems and issues with a sense of intellectual humility, recognizing that there may be multiple perspectives and approaches to understanding any given subject.
Deep thinkers are explorers of possibilities who try to reach beyond what they know and typically engage in a range of mental processes and strategies as they consider ideas and solve problems. These may include:
- Asking questions: Deep thinkers are not content to simply accept things at face value, and they are not afraid to ask tough, probing questions in order to better understand a concept or idea.
- Analyzing and synthesizing information: Deep thinkers carefully consider the information they are presented with, breaking it down into smaller pieces in order to better understand its components and how they fit together. They may also look for connections and patterns between different…
